Below you can post either a need you have or a volunteered or paid services you can provide for the community.

Volunteers

Consider the following activities as a volunteer:

• Offering emotional support
• Carpooling to appointments
• Light cleaning and yardwork/gardening
• Bringing in firewood
• Cooking a meal
• Making a piece of art together
• Friendly check-ins

Volunteers should keep the scope of their commitment to no more than a few hours a week, and should not involve anything too physically demanding or dangerous, such as cleaning gutters with a ladder or cutting firewood with a chainsaw.

Service Providers

Paid service providers may offer the above activities or other services that might be relevant to an aging community such as the following:

• Yardwork and firewood production
• Caregiving
• Medical services
• Regular indoor/outdoor cleaning and maintenance
• Skilled labor and construction
• Extended house sitting

In the following form you should provide what you are willing to do, whether your services are paid or volunteered, days or times that you prefer, and a way to contact you. Once you post, you will have to contact the site administrator to make changes or request your post to be removed.

Needs

If you are an elderly or disabled member of the community in need of assistance, you may post your needs here. You may request either volunteers or paid services, but consider the scope and nature of your need. See above for suggested limitations on what should be expected of a volunteer.
